We believe small businesses deserve enterprise-grade tech.

Polar Bear Data started with a simple frustration: small and medium businesses were being sold websites that looked nice but didn't actually do anything for the business behind them. Meanwhile, the tools to fix that: real integrations, real automation, real hosting infrastructure, were locked behind enterprise price tags and enterprise complexity.

We build the same kind of connected, automated systems that big companies use, sized and priced for businesses that are still growing. Whether you run on Shopify, QuickBooks, a CRM, or something you built yourself in a back office ten years ago, we make sure your website works with it, not around it.

Robert Stewart, founder of Polar Bear Data

Meet Robert Stewart

For more than 20 years, I've built the data systems that large organizations depend on when the stakes are high. A few highlights:

  • Wells Fargo Helped the bank's anti-money-laundering program meet the regulatory requirements that cleared the way for mergers. During the Wachovia merger, I built a working copy of the AML program across both banks' networks, supporting a merger that helped enable billions in added monthly revenue.
  • Airbnb and Robinhood Automated the finance integrations that helped both companies pass audits as they became public companies, including the integrations that move data into Oracle Financials and trigger accounting processes automatically.
  • PG&E Led the migration of mainframe applications to modern analytics platforms, saving millions in overhead.

Polar Bear Data brings that same discipline to small and growing businesses: websites connected to the tools you already run, built to be reliable and easy to audit.
